Relevancy discussion

Hi @Ssabri,

Since this page constitutes original research and is about an isolated customer support dispute that is seemingly relevant to only one person (I'm guessing yourself), rather than a systemic or widely reported on issue, I think it would be best to move the page to your user space.

Just reply here if you're ok with that, and I'll make the move! Keith (talk) 17:57, 19 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Keith,
Thank you for reviewing the article. I understand the concern regarding original research and the article currently relying heavily on an individual dispute.
I am happy for the page to be moved to my user space while I improve it. My intention was to document a wider pattern rather than only my own case, as the article also references several separate public reports in Anthropic’s official Claude Code repository involving duplicate Max charges, paid subscriptions not being activated, disappearing upgrade credits and difficulty obtaining human billing review.
I will look for stronger independent secondary sources, reduce the emphasis on my individual dispute and make the systemic consumer issue clearer. Once the article has been improved, would it be possible to request another relevance review?
Thank you for your guidance.

Hi Saleem
That's absolutely fine, and I'll be happy to take a look at it once you've worked on it some more! In order to get it to a point where it's eligible to be a mainspace wiki article, you're right that those secondary sources and refocusing the article on the wider systemic issue are absolutely going to be the main thing.
Thank you very much for contributing, and have a good evening! Keith (talk) 20:16, 19 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi Keith,
I have now completed the revision of the existing page. I rewrote the page in place, so there is no separate version that needs to be merged.
I removed the unpublished UK case study, personal exhibits and material based mainly on individual GitHub complaints. The revised page is now based on independent reporting from The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian, together with Anthropic’s official plan, support and refund documentation.
The existing title no longer reflects the revised content. I suggest renaming it to:
Anthropic Claude subscription billing and consumer protection concerns
Could you please review the revised page and, if it is now suitable, rename it, move it from my user space into the main wiki and remove the relevance notice?
Thank you again for your guidance. Ssabri (talk) 23:45, 19 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
