Transsion/Tecno Mobile fails to comply with the GPLv2 License the Linux kernel used in their lineup of Android devices is licensed under.
The GPLv2 License states that modified code can be redistributed (ie. By using the Kernel in a device distributed to consumers) under the condition that the changes/improvements must also be licensed under the GPL, with source provided, including build scripts and configuration files required to build the software.
Transsion Holdings/Tecno Mobile straight up doesn't release any of their kernel or Android source code in a publicly accessible way.
