Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corp. is a subsidiary company of the Terumo Corporation that develops medical devices for cardiac and vascular surgery.[1] It was founded in 1999, after its parent company acquired the cardiovascular division of the 3M Company.

Controversies

Discontinuation of certification of third-party repair[2]

On December 12, 2024, Terumo Cardiovascular notified customers that, beginning in 2025, the company would "no longer offer certification classes for the repair and/or preventive maintenance of the System 1 and its components".
