Reynard Browser for iOS is a web browser users can install onto iOS to run Gecko and utilize Firefox extensions on an iPhone. This browser was created by minh-ton who aimed to provide a supported browser for users on older iOS versions.

Reynard allows users to:

  1. use a rendering engine of their choice outside of Apple's WebKit
  2. use extensions with limited availability on official Firefox on iOS such as uBlock Origin
  3. Customize their browser in ways not possible on App Store browsers
  4. demonstrate that Apple's WebKit only rule is not a privacy and security measure bby providing access to privacy and ad-blocking tools unavailable on official iOS browsers
