Alter Channel was an greek private TV Channel , which open in 1994 as "Κανάλι 5" by Giorgos Kouris , renamed in 29th of October 2000 and closed in 2012.[1]

The Unpaid Employees incident (2011 - 2012)

In 6 April 2011 , Alter Channel's employees, were protesting with ETITA's support because the owner of the channel was not paying them their dues. While they were protesting outside the office , they stopped live broadcasting of the channel and they broadcasted a card for 3 hours saying in Greek : Οι εργαζόμενοι του ALTER δεν ειναι ειλωτες! Απαιτουν τωρα τα δεδουλευμένα τους! ΤΕΡΜΑ Η ΚΟΡΟΪΔΊΑ![2]

Then a video about Alter Channel's Employees by Ακριβή Κυριάκου around 1 minute was broadcasted about her feelings for the situation. [3]

Then After the video an credits like card played and says that they are promised dates to give them their accrued wages while they were not, and that they were owed 5 to 10 salaries and that they had survival problems. [4]
